Avi Rose is a longtime nonprofit leader and community activist who retired in 2020 as Executive Director of Jewish Family & Community Services East Bay. Avi pioneered Jewish and interfaith responses to the HIV/AIDS epidemic and also co-edited the anthology, Twice Blessed: On Being Lesbian, Gay and Jewish.
