Nancy Gonchar is a mother, curator, and activist. Throughout her careers at SUNY Binghamton and the San Francisco Arts Commision, she has focused her curating on diverse and marginalized artists through works that are politically provocative and socially charged. Her efforts to “shake things up” have proven the inherently activist and political nature of art.
