Allan Gold
Dr. Allan Gold is a San Francisco native and a retired school psychologist. A lifelong learner, Allan earned four degrees from the University of California, Berkeley, including a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics, a Master’s Degree in Statistics, and later, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology.
After serving in the United States Army Reserves as a Social Work Specialist in a medical unit, Allan returned to Berkeley to complete his academic journey. In addition to his professional career, he served as president of his local synagogue and founded support groups at schools to assist children facing challenges at home. In his retirement, you can find Allan painting, as he has done for the past 49 years, caring for his pets, and keeping up with his previous students.
