Nancy Gonchar is a mother, curator, and activist. Throughout her careers at SUNY Binghamton and the San Francisco Arts Commission, she has focused her curating on diverse and marginalized artists through politically provocative and socially charged works. Her efforts to “shake things up” have proven the inherently activist and political nature of art.
