Paul Cohen was born in New York City, where he eventually became the first non-medical CEO of Trenton Psychiatric Hospital. After moving to San Francisco in 1979, Paul continued his diverse and meaningful career. He was deeply involved with San Francisco's Jewish community, serving on the boards of directors of several local not-for-profit organizations, including: Congregation Sha’ar Zahav, San Francisco Hillel, the San Francisco Jewish Community Federation, the Bureau of Jewish Education, and 18Doors.
